Jellycat Media has three main areas of specialisation:
- we help charities and businesses communicate through a range of services including film production, event management and graphic design.
- we run creative workshops and apprenticeships for young people with mental health problems
- we provide mental health consultancy and training to a wide range of companies, organisations and individuals trying to improve their understanding of mental health issues and how these issues can impact on their employees, communities and families.
Communication services
We employ a large bank of freelance film makers, web designers, graphic designers, writers, musicians and artists who can work together as a team or independently to provide our clients with an innovative and effective multi-media product.

- research and evaluation services, not only in the field of mental health but also in a broader range of commercial subject areas, for the public and private sectors.
Creative workshops and apprenticeships
We provide the opportunity for young people with mental health problems to work and train in the media and creative industries alongside freelance professionals.
These creative workshops can be the first stage in building confidence and skills to enable a young person to be ready to access mainstream programmes provided by other organisations.
Mental health consultancy, training and advocacy
Consultancy - we provide consultancy in the areas of mental health service improvement and we are developing strong person-centred teams in the field of mental health services throughout the north of England.
Training - we raise awareness of mental health problems and the need to seek help earlier through the development of innovative training materials geared to the needs of different organisations and the wider community. We train and employ service users to deliver the training they provide alongside professional staff.
Advocacy - we are an advocacy organisation and we have connections with regional and national networks formulating strategy in this area of work.
